Wurlitzer Atrium

Located just off the Main Hall, the Atrium had been, until January 2005, home to Madame Butterfly's 1937 Wurlitzer Piano. Seeing that she found less and less time to play her scales while the need for more exhibition space at HoMu BKLYN grew, Madame decided to de-accession the piano to make room for new acquisitions.

The Wurlitzer Atrium houses MoMA HMLSS and prototypes for the Champagne Campaign.

Here, visitors can relax on white bean bags and listen to Wurlitzer Music.
