$0 COLLECTION, 2003

Designed as an ambulatory and budget-free art collection, the $0 Collection features postcards of famous artworks, industrial milk crates, and an assembly of found objects - all of which form an original palette of matching colors.

Homeless Klein (Black and White)
Homeless Laib (Yellow)
Homeless Boucher (Blue)
Homeless Cézanne (Forest Green)
Homeless Caravaggio (Red)

The $0 Collection was first presented at HoMu's official inauguration in June 2003, held in a vacant artist studio in Chelsea, NYC. In March 2005, it was brought to HoMu BKLYN and installed in the Museum's Loft Gallery. In June 2006, a separate new version was recreated as part of Filip Noterdaeme's museum-for-a-day, HoMu Cribs, in Kansas City, MO.
