Eau D'Abramovic (2005)Skin Care Tonic infused with the aura of performance artist Marina Abramovic.Eau d'Abramovic is made from drippings of the ice cross used by Abramovic in her 2005 reenactment of "Lips of Thomas," an original 1975 performance piece of hers involving nudity and self-mutilation. Director Noterdaeme, who witnessed the reenactment held at the Guggenheim Museum, salvaged a block from the ice cross the next day and brought it to the Homeless Museum, where he created and bottled the cosmetical tonic. Advertised as "an invigorating tonic that creates a cooling, stimulating sensation," Eau d'Abramovic is especially recommended for art critics, curators, and gallery owners. - Limited edition of 10 8oz. flacons |
